Day of Silence is a day, where all those who choose to, do not utter a word. The reasoning behind this is to represent all those who have been silenced because of their sexual orientation.

I heard about that on the youth resource web-page and think that "The Day of Silence" is a really good idea. So yes, I will be acting on this to show my support. There are also cards to hand out to school teachers or co-workers.

i've helped organize one, but i didn't actually do it because the thought of not being able to talk worried me--not for social reasons, but because i assumed that i wouldn't be able to ask my teachers questions if i needed to.
