Lexus vs. BMW?

BMW
i have had both and the Lexus is an excellent car but it has to be the BMW
its just unbelievable
no comparison

Just bought a 740i BMW and have had a 2004 GX470 Lexus SUV since 2008. I had a Lexus LS400. It drove smoother than the BMW, but for the short time I've had the Beamer, its handles the road a little better.

To be honest I like both cars but if I had to chose it would be the lexus because parts are cheaper and the motors last almost forever BMW on the other are excellent drivers but to me not all that reliable and plus they are way too expensive to fix I also agree that bmws handle curves and roads a little bit better but if you want reliability and luxury for a cheaper price and a car that last forever and won't let you down go for lexus I own a 1998 lexus gs300 drives like your on a cloud

Depends on what's most important for you.

Lexus for reliability and softer ride. BMW reliablity is average while Lexus is stellar.

BMW for road handling and steering feel. Only the IS is close, the other Lexus models aren't for driving enjoyment.

I own a BMW sedan and a Lexus SUV.

I've worked as a tech for the past two years in a local shop working on all types of cars, and I can tell you that we see just as many toyotas and lexus vehicles as we do beamers. Personally, I love the comfort and style of the lexus, but the BMWs of today are much, much more fun to drive. My mom drives a Mini Cooper (made by BMW). The car has never given her a bit of trouble, and between my modded 00 camaro Z28 and her little mini, I can honestly say that the mini is much more fun to drive. Just my .02

If you want a true driver's car then get a BMW 3 series, it has the best driving dynamics, impressive handling and unmatched precision. It is also named #1 car on Car_and_Drivers magazine 10 best cars list 18 years in a row. Audi is very nice but I feel it is overpriced and not bigger than a BMW. Acura has never impressed me, I consider buying it but it felt too heavy and with too much of a Japanese feel, and I don't like Japanese cars, most of their cars tend to be boring. Besides, the new Acura styling is pretty ugly, in my opinion. So, I strongly suggest a BMW or an Infinity G37x which is bigger than a BMW and is a great overall car, my friend just got one.

If you are smart, get Lexus since it is very comfortable and deadly reliable. BMW is for kids who knows how to borrow money. Get enough cash and buy used Lexus for better reliability and safe your life from money-pit BMW.
