Post office, western union, convenient stores, or grocery stores sell them for a less than a dollar. You pay the amount that you need the money order to be and the fee for the money order itself.

Bank, Grocery store, Post office, Gas Station/Convenience store, Wal-mart. I have notied that Wal-Mart is the cheapest. Only 48 cents last time I got one, other places charge you at least a buck.

postal money order is from the post office. other money orders are from the bank, or from places like Money Mart (fast cash for cheques kind of places).
