How long did it take you to write that? Anyway, there's no such thing as being stolen. You're friend opts to either stay with you or leave for the other guy or girl or whatever. Just let him go. You think it's not that easy, but believe me, that's as easy as it gets if you don't wanna mess up your life.

My suggestion is to talk to him straight and without fear. Make yourself confident in your commitment to a serious relationship and try to overcome the "pride and prejudice" - if this is one of the reasons of breaking up. About stealing: you may ask for support, first of all from your mutual friends - if any, and then from people who are professionals (psychologists, family planning advisers/ medics) even-though this approach might be annoying and time-consuming. Nobody, never will steal him if he really cares about you. Be yourself. Just know this...if he is yours then can't no one take him away. There is no way anyone can steal somebody that doesn't want to go. If he ends up with her then it's because that's where he wants to be. She can't force him to do anything he doesn't want to.
