You will always be a recovering alcholic, which means you can never take another drink. AA (alcholic anonymous) and the Bill W. program has seemed to help the most people. Check your local phone book to find a meeting for you. Meetings are not always the correct fit, you have to keep searching for one that is right for you. You also need to get plenty of sleep, eat a good diet, and avoid the obsticles that caused you to over drink in the first place. You must go cold turkey, there is no other way.

I have detox more than 5 time, yet i still drink before bed time.
You must have enough B-complex in you or take yacon fruits to control withdrawal.
Never never try and stop by your own...
The first day you stop without proper medication you shivering and tire, second day you be warm and cold, the critical part is you body heat will shoot up like high fever but not and make you confuse........
sweat alot and drink alot of water till u cant control just give one or two bottle/glass to stimulate the blood.

Go to another AA meeting. Call your sponsor. you have to remember that you are not alone. and you have to take it one day at a time. Just keep trying. It works if you work it!

At least you have tried to get help and that is good start towards recovery. I can't get my husband to seek treatment and things are really bad here. At least you are trying!!
