Used to be a landlord in Iowa, after the 3 days he needs to file the paperwork, then you need to get served for a hearing in small claims court in about a week and then if you still lose the sheriff will have to post the actual eviction date. So all told it takes about 3 weeks in Iowa, not sure about other states. But if you not want to stay I would let the landlord know and he just may work with you if the place is in good order. Hope all goes well.

It depends on what state you live but the police will uaually come with the lanloard and escort you off the property and once that has happen you are no longer allowed to be on that prrperty even to retrieve personal belongings so if you have personal belongings left they will be sold!! and do remember since you are being evicted you will still have to pay rent untill they rent the apartment again!! so if they rent the apartment in a week you pay only i week!! 2 weeks you pay two weeks 2 months you will have yo pay 2 months rentt!! this is true in ALL states!!

normally 15 to 30 day you will have to be out of the house after eviction notice is served, it will have a date on the court order as to date you must vacate the house

This can be fairly easy but you do have options.
If you have children - even one- you can pretty safely say about thirty to sixty days. If not you might want to consider showing up on the date your eviction notice says in court... a couple weeks at least.
