All right, I must admit you have made your point very clear!
Likewise your wording is quite sound.
Perhaps we must give it a second thought and
Elaborate the other way around as well
Really do you want to get it right?

Yoda, listen well, I am older and wiser than you. I know the secret. You can only do what you can do. But every baby step you take away from the dark side puts you into the light. It is the little things that matter. All the people standing on the corner screaming life is not fair do nothing. It is the $1 you gave to the gal at work that was suicidal and she could get a candy bar. But more the smile you gave her with it. It was the hug that you gave the gal that was angry when she quit her job. It was the piece of trash you picked up that was not yours to pick up. It was striving towards the force instead of kicking against it that will help. Others will see and know this is the way of the light. Go and make baby steps until you walk in the force.

I don't know what exactly this is about but in the real world most homeless people have many more issues that then reflect on how they feel and treat other people. This is a large project. The health care industry should be the first step in helping these people in many ways such as environmentally, psychosocially, and medically. When these needs are met then they can start to feel good about themselves to want to be a part of this world once this is accomplished then they will have a want to do the necessary things to make a better living for them selves.

Who is Yoda?
Secondly he ain't no master of mine
Now to answer your question we cannot make a better world only GOD can, because for us to make a better world, every human being on earth would have to have the same goal, the same desire the same drive. There are those who are selfish and want gain. These are those who are oppressors because they want to feel better than others by putting them down via racism for example. If you want to make a better world work on yourself. (your attitude towards wasting food money, your attitude toward the environment etc.) Maybe people will see and want to do the same.

Are you bubbling like a giant carbonated soda???
The only way to obtain world peace at this point, Yoda, is to just drop a bomb on Iraq and North Korea and get it over with. Pull our troops out from everywhere else and bring them home first, then nuke everyone and let 'em all fend for themselves! Also, we need to post soldiers with AK-47's and the like at 5 foot intervals all along our borders - specifically the border we share with Mexico. And shoot anyone trying to enter the US.

i am sorry to shatter ur dreams like this, but Master Yoda, the world can not improve. so many have tried and some many have failed. there is a minority who are willing to improve the world and the majority doesn't care or isn't willing to help, and so as the story goes- the majority wins...

Teach to love, accept, live and let live, to each his/her own and not hate. This will never happen because we have too many parents, groups, and organizations out there teaching to hate. You have to be happy with your self. If you're not then you attack others to make yourself feel better. I think people should be happy that they have a roof over their head, food in their stomach,, nice things, clothes on their back, a good job, and $ in the bank and a vehicle. If you have that and even if you're not rich, you should be happy to have what you need. (Leave others alone!) You can't control others and you can't save the world. Life is to short to worry about things you can't change, or don't agree with.

"My experience in,"Do something about it..." Means nothing. It means willing to exhaust the possibilities of the problem they are not. From experience, say that every homeless person has a story, I can, and of homeless people and offering them money blindly going into a den, or work, or always be appreciated clothes will not. Yes? mmmmhmmm. "You high and mighty, better than us, you think are." Thinking that they all want help, the mistake is. Want help they do, the truth is, ask for it, will they. Yeesssssss." ~smiles
