Ovulation prediction calendars can't take into account your own body's chemistry. They give you approximations at best. Your best bet is to try either charting your basal body temps or to use an ovulation predictor kit. There are also more detailed programs you can use, such as ovusoft.

Good luck to you!

well there are ovualtion kits you can try im doing them now and they are great !!! you buy them at the drug store or any shop that sells pregnancy stuff... you buy an ovulation kit for 5 days it comes with 5 peeing cups and 5 tests you do one test a day for 5 days at the same time every day.... it sort of looks like a pregnancy test but for ovualtion.... it comes up positive when you are at your highest and that means you are going to ovulate in 24 - 36 hours so you have sex on the day you get a positive and the day after....its worked for alot of women thats just an easier thing to try so that when you know you are most fertile you can plan a romantic evening and just enjoy the night instead of worrying the WHOLE month about making sure that you and your husband had sex on certain days so goodluck and for the future CONGRATS

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

For starter's, ovulation calendars are notoriously evil. :) They use an assumption to tell you when you are ovulating. This assumption has caused more women than I can count to completely miss their ovulation date - which they only found out after many months, and using opk's/temping.

You might want to start taking their route - start temping or using opk's to figure out your own pattern. Every woman is different - assumptions don't work. You need to find out when YOU are ovulating, every month.

Good luck! If you decide to temp, you can use the website below to track it. It's what I use, and it's pretty good!

You are not a lone. My huaband and I have been trying for 4 yrs now for baby #2 and so far nothing. I suggest you pray fast and ask God is it ihis will for you to be pregnant or not at this time. Then go from there.

A calculator really does not help. You have to monitor your fertility by checking your temperature, your mucous and other physical changes. It is not a simple process to learn.

Read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It is available in most libraries.

If you are over 35, you will have a harder time. Also it may have to do with you mate and not you.
As a general rule if trying for over 18 months, than you should go and seek Dr's help.

You need to go to your doc and talk to them about doing tests on you to find out why. If this is something that you really want then go to your doc and get tests done... It was the best thing that I could ever do. They can tell you what is going on.
