Is there a way to get rid of veritical black lines on your fingernails?

My finger nails have been abused by me 4 a while now and i realized how dark my fingernails were. is there a way to get rid of it?

It will go away by itself very slowly, months. I had that.

I take it you are a woman of color! there is nothing you can do about this.I am a man of color and I have the same thing.You as a woman could use nail polish.
