as we see in germany , english fans taunting germans about their past,should the english be more ashamed about their past

to answer your question, everyone has things in their countries past and history that are shameful. England included. They have throughout history taken control over many lands and decimated and destroyed many Indigenous populations then gone on to inflict their laws and subjective morality onto these people. History is called history because it is a past act or deed and the lesson that should be learnt is to ensure injustice and shameful pasts do not revisit. So no they do not have the right to taunt anyone. What happened under Hitler was an atrocity but what happened to my people, the Australian Aborigines at the hands of the English was too. If you wish to be forgiven the sins of your countries past you must learn to forgive others. No one here today is directly responsible for things that happened many years ago. It's time people learnt the meaning of respect.

Im English, and proud to be so!!!...yes we have a history behind us....which counrty doesnt....countries have done us wrong......do we still hold a grudge, complain,whinge on about It? NO. Unlike the Welsh, Omg those ******* people like C.J.Davies, he has such a bad miserable life, slagging off England has becme an obsession to him...then that other **** Bronnimoose....that ones from Scotland....see the connection...Wales,Scotland....2 countries that aint good enuff to be In anything.You are both SO bad at being losers!!!. Even If we dont go any further in the world cup....at least we/I can say my country that Im from, done there best, made It this far, ( lots further than your countries by the way) Come on England, Lets piss the Welsh, Irish and Scottish off........lets win this world cup!!!!

Ha, pop up to scotland and listen to them whine on, or ask the germans why they did not fly the St George cross but all the other flags during the start to the 2006 comp. Lets also look at what went on in the bulkans, or iran etc shall I go on, get a life

Most english fans are great.
Some, like triple X, are morons who deserve to be thrown in a pitch full of hooligans and kicked until kingdom come.
Can't really root for England, for I'm a Portugal fan. England has still to show anything remotely close to what the portuguese have.

Truth be known - every nation has dirty linen in its closet but you put booze and too much testosterone in any environment and you've created a situation ripe for problems. And in truth it goes both ways as can be easily seen by the response to some of the questions regarding England's chances for advancing.

why does everyone have to take everything so seriously? we mock the germans because they lost the war big deal so what! personally i dont care about the war, it was drunken banter that got out of hand, everyone does it to everyone else, just because its the english it all get blown out of proportion! it was a minority of the thousands of fans over there! just shut up and chill out!
