Sweetie, my parents divorced after 23 years. Don't let it get to you. This is between them. You have nothing to do with their problems and there is nothing you can do to keep them together. Just figure that you love them both, but they have to figure this out between them.

B the way, after 8 years apart, my parents re-married. Then divorced again after 6 years.

Go figure...

I think you should just let them divorce, it's better to have two happy homes than one miserable one.

But if you are determined to keep them together, help them to remember why they fell in love in the first place, or help them find new reasons why they should stay together. Show them that life at your place isn't so bad, help around the house so that it takes some of the stress off of them and they can relax.

Lots of times both parents are so stressed out from work and chores that they don't spend enough time together or with the kids. Babysit your siblings and tell them to spend a night out alone, maybe then they'll see why the fell for each other in the beginning.

If they do not want to be together then there is nothing you can (or should) do. The decisions to divorce is obviously somehting they have agreed on and decided would e the best course of action for them. For you to moan about their split and whine that you do not want them to divorce makes you look a little selfish. Just because they are splitting up does not mean they stop becoming your parents and it certainly does not mean that you must stop enjoying them both.

If they don't want to be together, you can't force them. It's their relationship and their lives. You may end up being more miserable if they stay together and fight all the time.
