Send her pictures of your new life..........baby etc....tell her.........that you have moved on and wish her every happiness too...just like you have found........THINK....she needs help to let go....THINK.....she is scared to be alone...exposed to the world witout the label of marraige....the security label that gives social credabillity......THINK.she will have to start that whole journey again.......THINK......support her as a friend...tell her ..you wish her well.......and make the divorce a rebirthing for her to launch into a a new adventure..with all its fears there are excitements..its life..........THINK...help her let go......make a date....a goal......make it meaningfull....and let go........together!

Why don't you divorce her?????
YOU can divorce her she doesn't have to agree you can prove theres no chance of you ever getting back together you have a baby if that isn't proof I don't know what is.
If she wont agree you can divorce her it just costs a hell of a lot more and takes a lot longer.
Your only other option is to wait 3 more years, after 7 years of separation divorce is always easier

im not sure on the legal terms of scotland but im in the south east..and i beleive that after 4 years of living seperate the marriage is already classed as absolute..what i did was went to the courts applied for a decree of absolute and it cost me just 36.00 they gave me the papers over the counter at the court. and sent a copy to my x husband through the post. it took about half n hour. find out where the closest family court is to you and call them to find out where you stand. and good luck,

Ouch, I don't know your laws in Scotland. You should call an attorney who does. Is there any reason you can't just file against her? Is there a limit on years apart before the marriage dissolves? I would call a pro on this one.

you need to just get a divorce, why do you ned her consent. the relationship is over, now all that is at hand is wh ois going to pay for this? pay for it take her to court. if you are going to wait for her to do it she wont, it cost tooo much but if you want to do it to mvoe on then pay for it.good luck.

I thought all you had to do was produce papers for the other to sign.
