As we all know, the game between Netherlands and Portugal was quite heated. But I think that the Ref showed a bit of favoritism towards the Netherlands, or is that just me? And I'm not just saying this because I'm a Portugal fan.

I don't think you could call if favoritism - just poor officiating in general. I always try to avoid "blaming the ref" but in this case I didn't have a particular interest in which team won or lost so no bias to begin with. The ref not only made bad calls and/or missed calls but in general just lost control of the entire game leaving the players to fend for themselves so it got down and dirty. I really hope he's not put in a position to call any more games.

i do not imagine you may want to call if favoritism - only adverse officiating often. I continually attempt to keep away from "blaming the ref" yet therefore i did not have a particular pastime in which crew gained or lost so no bias to commence with. The ref no longer in uncomplicated phrases made undesirable calls and/or ignored calls yet often only lost administration of the finished sport leaving the gamers to fend for themselves so it were given down and dirty. i extremely wish he's not any longer put able to call any extra video games.

No he did not. He was a very well composed referee. Every card and every sending off was well deserved.
If he showed favouritism then it wouldnt end with 9 players on each side.
The only leniency he showed was against Figo, when it should have been a red card instead of the yellow one. Figo was extremely unprofessional and very aggressive everywhere. He is the cause of all this, especially when he dived theatrically when he was challenged by a dutch player that caused him to be sent off.

No favouritism. I'm portuguese and my only complaint is that the dutch that tackled Ronaldo was sent off immediatelly.
Still, it was a great game. Both teams were excellent.
Portugal still has more than enough to win against England.
We'll see next Saturday.
Cheers and enjoy the beautiful game!!!

If he showed favortism, he would have given the dutch more than 6 minutes of additional time. There should have been WAY more than 6. There wasnt any favortism. If there was Figo would have been red carded right away for the headbutt.

No, he showed he shouldn't be a ref because he's an idiot.
