Depending how long he's in the UK you need let him know that you like him.

Problem is, for a long-distance relationship to work you need to develop a connection before it becomes long-distance. If he's in the UK for a few months do all the usual subtle stuff a girl does to show a guy she likes him. If we're talking weeks you need to work quickly and be more direct.

Look at it this way, even if you get a completely humiliating rejection he'll be leaving the country soon and you'll never have to see him again. What do you have to lose?
