A wise man told me this about guys, there are three types.....

There are Boys, Men and Gentlemen

Boys can't control what they want. They just take without thinking or giving back. They could care less what happens to others and even themselves.

Men work for what they want and need. They pay their dues. However, what men do to survive isn't always helping everyone else. Some men work with an ignorant mind while others perish because of him.

Gentlemen also work for what they want and need. They also pay their dues. But most of all they give a damn about everyone else. These men are committed to their interest for the greater good. When they are in love their eyes don't stray elsewhere.

In my opinion a man doesn't only represent musculinity, power, and a loud voice.....i think a lot of women out there demonstrated that women could be much of a man aswell if that was the case.
I believe a man is what represents wisdom, courage, character, and above all responsibility not only for his actions, but for his family, and those who are needy.
A man, is someone who will protect you when you need protection.....Guide you with his wisdom when you need guidance....and tolerant enough not give up on something that they believe in.
Hope that shed some light.....Good luck

I am going to say maturity and responsibly. Some adults in their 20's I would not consider to be a 'man', yet some teenagers are forced to become a 'man' to help out their families.

A "man" is someone who is responsible enough to think of the consequences of his actions and does not hesitate in making reparations for the damages he's done. Someone who is strong enough to stand his ground but sensible enough to give in to what is right.

I would think that the difference between "boys" and "men" are their ability to accept responsibility for themselves and demonstrate empathy. Also, a "man" is not primarily governed by impulse, whereas boys mostly are.
