The teams that usually reach the semi-finals in the World Cup (e.g. Italy, Brasil, Argentina, Germany, Portugal) should not have problems on substitute few injured or suspended players.
If a Team wants to reach the top, they should have top players.
Nesta can be substituted by Materazzi (unfortunately) or Lippi can easily find alternative solutions for the defensive line (Oddo, Zaccardo, Barzagli).
Don't worry Juventina, we will suffer a bit (as always) but at the end we will prevail.

Let me risk incurring your ire once more by saying that, if Italy can't defeat Australia without Nesta, they should retrace Hannibal's route and go home prestissimo.
