Bengal bug spray ...you won't see anything creepy for a long time...don't use it on your neighbors even if they're creepy...this spray is powerful and doesn't smell up your home and you won't have to leave. Make sure you leave an opening for them to get out too just in case they survive...I did not know that and all of the bugs went to my kitchen ceiling ...very frightening!!!! No bugs for like 4-6 months then repeat.

All the answers you received are good. The important thing is to have your neighbors also do the same thing. If they don't and you do, they'll just come back. I would also wipe down everything in the kitchen regularly and you can draw using white chalk a line across where you think they're coming from, some types of bugs do not like the chalky feel I guess and won't cross it. I've tried that and it worked temporarily. Good luck

Black flag foggers activated in your apartment will kill everything even stuff you did not know was there. Buy some window screen material and secure it with duct tape or clear, peelable caulk to you heat registers to keep them from entering you place via the registers. Use the boric acid along window sills, doorways and holes in walls and floors where plumbing enters you apartment. Buy some Great Stuff Foam and spray it around the pipes that enter your apartment especially under the kitchen sink. Get a pet lizard and let it roam your apartment. They'll eat the bugs and won't bother you.

If they are cockroaches, you might need a professional exterminator. They never really go away, but an exterminator can help you see less of them for a while.

Make sure your cereals and breads are in plastic containers with lids, and refrigerate just about everything else.

Don't leave fruit out on the counter.

And I have heard that if you sprinkle cinnamon in the areas where you see the most bugs, they will not cross it. Orange peels work the same way.

Just make sure that everything is sealed up or in the fridge, your trash is taken out every day, and your kitchen is CLEAN (including the top of your refrigerator...they like to hide there).

And check your bathroom, too...you might need to get a toothbrush cover.

Dark Martha said it best. Go to your local Pharmacy or seler of Boric Acid. Also goes under the name Roach Proof. Place it in the back of cabinets and behind the fridge. Anywhere pets and kids can't get to it. Whatever pests you have will pick it up and take it bacl to the nest and soon it will eliminate the whole batch. I once moved into a house that was Mormon owned. The owners did not follow proper food stroage techniques and the house was full of bugs. I used the Boric Acis trick and in a couple of weeks they were gone. Lived there 7 years without a single bug.

throw boric acid around. It's a white powder. you can get it at wal mart or k mart or home depot. After 10 days there will be no more bugs. Safe to have around kids and pets. Put it under the sink, behind frige and stove and in corners of the cabinets. The bugs feed it to all the other bugs.

If you have roaches, then use boric acid powder poured along the baseboards. This will kill them in a few weeks.

Ants? Boric acid and sugar. They take it back to the nest and it will kill them in no time at all...

Boric acid can be bought at your local drug store or pharmacy.

Flies? Pest strip that will trap the pests. Remove all garbage as thats where they breed at. Or, keep all lids closed tightly.

Rats? get a cat :)

I wish you well..

Get a bomb. They sell them at wal-mart and other places. You set it off right before you leave for several hours. Directions are on the can. Make sure to wipe the counters down afterward or you will be eating poison.
