But I am having a hard time choosing out of two peices of furniture. I have a big white 1950's long dresser and a 1970's stereo cabinet that is cherry wood, this holds my t.v. and my dvd. Both look really good for their age, but dont know which one to go with. Which one do you think I should choose from? I can only choose one cause my room is small.

I luv Victorian and I definitely think the big white l950's long dresser's the way to go.. U could always cover it w/something Victorian looking (like a paisley damask w/huge long tassels hanging off the ends?) hey, Victorian's like that.. real 'heavy furniture' ya know. Pick 'heavy (dark) colors' in the room too.. (Victorianish..) I like heavy drapes, those neat 'curtains' hanging from the ceiling, round the bed.. yeah, makes me wanna go back and redo MY damn room.. lol.. later (Melancholia)

I think that you should choose the dresser. You will need a place to put your underclothes without them being in everyone's eyesite. Besides, if it is possible, you can always put some shelves on the dressed for your tv and dvd player.

use the one that has the most storage space. obviously you like both so go with the one the most useful. is there a way to stack them for added use & maintain a personal look?
