As a heterosexual I dont find myself attractive or arousing sexually, Im trying to find out with this question if homosexuals do. It would make logical sense to me since the anatomy you seek for satisfaction you already have but I am looking forward to homosexuals responses because logic is not always a ruler.

To all those who put down you have to find yourself attractive to masturbate do you actually know the definition of masturbation?

Masturbation
Excitation of one's own or another's genital organs, usually to orgasm, by manual contact or means other than sexual intercourse.

From dictionary.com
Note nothing about getting off on ones self love or self. Nothing about attraction to oneself either. Personally I think of women dureing masturbation, which is why I put the question, because gays are attracted to the same sex couldnt they in theory be attracted to themselves. I did recieve an educated answer from elizabeth about it being possible if they were autosexual with a link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autosexuality this by far being the best answer. Thank you.

Also for those of you to lazy to click the link.
As a sexual preference, autosexuality refers to people whose primary sexual interest is with themselves. It is rare for individuals to be sexually attracted only to themselves. It can be considered to be a paraphilia or as an exclusive preference to be a form of homosexuality.

NOTE IT SAYS HOMOSEXUALITY. Apparently I'm not as stupid as some of you think I am. Your tax dollars are not wasted, but your judgement is, Good day.

No, not necessary.
Although they would if they're also autosexual.

I would have to agree that logic is not always a ruler. How can you say that you don't find yourself sexually arousing? Even just a little? That, my friend, is what masturbation is about (at least a large percentage!). i don't always think I'm beautiful, or even pretty...but I do know my body and the sheer intricacies of it make my head spin some days. And maybe that does make me sexually attracted to myself. I know what I like, what turns me on, and gets me going! So, why not? I really think that more people should look upon themselves as attractive and sexually appealing beings. I think this would go a long way to solving some problems society experiences when it comes to sex.

I think you have the wrong idea here honey! The fact that you don't find yourself sexually attractive, is a problem in itself, that is an issue of being self conscious! Because if you are not comfortable with your own body and don't love yourself, there is no way you can love anyone else, or be attracted to anyone else for that matter! And, being gay isn't always about the sex, it's about the love! But, i do think that most gay people are probably comfortable with themselves and find themselves attractive, because they know what turns them on and what they want, because they know their bodies and are following what they feel on the INSIDE!

GM here, and the answer is, I'm not my own type. I'm what gay folks call a bear, and I don't tend to look for other bears as any sort of sexual target. I like 'em with little body hair, thin, and younger than myself. Luckily, I got me a b/f who's got less hair, and is 18 years younger than myself.
Oh, and I do enjoy having sex with myself (masturbation) a lot, and have for 31 years. I'm 42 now.

I'd have to be pretty narcissistic to find myself sexually attractive - and that's an affliction that doesn't discriminate on sexual orientation.

I do enjoy a ham shank, though (much as I hope you do) so self-arousal is possible (although I'm sure we're both thinking about someone else when we get to the vinegar strokes!)

Regards

hmm.. I think that might be more that people generally do not find their own selves to be attractive because they see it all the time in every way. You see the own uglyness of your self, while looking at another, same sex or not, is refreshing. You see something attractive because you don't see the minute faults in it yet.

I believe this because, although I don't find myself to be particularly attractive, I do find other women attractive, but I am heterosexual.

Interesting illustration of the difference between men and women... women tend to dislike porn that focuses only on body parts; for us, the face is far more important. You describe your situation but what you posted is not a question. What did you mean to ask?

No, gay men do not find themselves attractive. When a heterosexual man masturbates does that mean he finds himself attractive?

As a gay boy, I like OTHER men, not myself.

Thats a stupid question. Just because someone is gay does not mean that if they saw themselves they would go and **** them.

Not necessarily. However, we all (regardless of gender preference) fall for someone for somethings we love within ourselves, but it doesn't have to mean we're in love with ourselves.
