What do you think of Todd Bertuzzi being traded to Florida?

I think that is a good trade. maybe someday people will leave Bertuzzi alone. I am not a fan of Bertuzzi, i dont watch Vancouver, but I think it is crap that he is being treated the way he is. Yes, he did break a guys neck, but he was not trying to do that. I agree with being fined and all, but not kicked out of the NHL, as a lot of people feel he should. That would mean that any hit a player makes, that accidentally injures someone, they should be kicked out of the NHL. I think Bertuzzi would be a great player if everyone would leave him alone again. Isnt it funny that Moore said he realized it was an accident and then a year later he decides to sue Bertuzzi. Hits like that happen in hockey, it is just unfortunate that he broke his neck.

Sorry, Florida really lost out on this one. Bertuzzi should be out of hockey as long as Steve Moore cannot play. A thug like Bertuzzi will be popular in Miami, maybe after a game misconduct he could give lessons on how to hit from behind with force???

Huge steal for Vancouver. Aside from the "baggage" that leaves with Bertuzzi, Luongo is a franchise player.

Hard to call this one. Luongo gives Vancouver something it hasn`t had in a long time.... a #1 starting goaltender. This alone will make them a legitimate contender next year. Bertuzzi,if he returns to his pre-suspension form, will give Florida something they`ve never had.....one of the top two power forwards in the NHL.

I think it is a fair deal for both teams...Bertuzzi will benefit from a change in scenery that takes him as far as possible away from vancouver.

Luongo is a stud goalie who is the best player in the deal...Gotta like that from the Canuck side of the trade...

I'm sad to see Bertuzzi go, although he didn't reach his potential here. It's awsome that we get a decent goalie out of it though, it's time!! I hope Bert has a better season in Florida so long as they don't beat Vancouver!!

In my opinion Bertuzzi should have been the second player in NHL histroy to be suspended from the NHL for life; the first being Billy Coutu.

Florida needs some help on defense, and they'll definitely need a lot more help now that Luongo is gone. For all of Canada this might be good just to send that idiot south of the border.

Don't touch Bertuzzi wityh a 10FT Pole. He's a cancer in the locker room. He didn't talk to a single teamate all last season, and if you look at him wrong he'll try to kill you.

It's sad, he used to be my favorite player.
