normally u have about 14 days fter ur cycle before u start ovualting..depending on how often u have your cycle ( i.e. 27 or 28 day cycle) remember the sperm can live inside a woman for up to 5 or days days but ur egg is only viable for 24 hours so u have a window go to www.ovulation-calendar.com that will help u pinpoint your most fertile days..good luck

You *could* get pregnant from sex on day 9 of your cycle, depending on how long your cycles are (or, more precisely, depending on how long *this* cycle would have been).

A woman ovulates about 2 weeks (typically 12-16 days) before her *next* period. Sperm can live in the female body up to 3-5 days. So, if you have 28 day cycles, you would probably have ovulated between days 12 and 16; sex on day 9 could have resulted in pregnancy if you ovulated in the earlier part of the range. If you have 24 day cycles, you would most likely ovulate between days 8 and 12, and could be fertile if you ovulated in the *later* part of that range.

It's hard to give an answer to that without knowing how long your cycles are. My guess is no..that you aren't...6 days is not typically near a fertile time of the month for most women.

And honestly.....you have no choice BUT to wait it out.....
