my gunsmith says it time to get modern

yes and no i got a gold cup natinal mach i love it and a got a glock 27 both are great guns and i wouldent sell either one colt 45 is a good gun should be able to get arond 800 to 1200 for it glocks are cheep i bout my 27 for 350 used with nitrolite sights

Maybe it's time to trade in your gunsmith. I would keep the Colt and buy a Glock. The Colt .45 rocks!

both semi? colt is a good machine but glock is my brand of choice, maybe tou could exchange for a glock 22 or 23 instead of a 19 so you dont lose caliber, if you can afford it go with sig sauer

don't know much about teh 45 colts, but my hubby has a 9mm glock and really likes it,
I personally prefer a 35 magnum revolver
I also enjoy shooting my father in law's 41 magnum revolver.

I would only if you are not comfortable with your 45 colt. Personally I would stick with my Colt

Unless you are hunting Elephant you will be more accurate and stil have plenty of power with the Glock.

Glock sucks if your gonna modernize go with Sig Saur. I had one and it never jamed or had a problem with it.
