A DOG!Dogs are like people they know when you are happy when you are sad....And they love you unlike any other animal i know...!

My favorite animal to love and to keep for a long time is a short haired cat from the Humane Society. The age depends on your temperment and the cat's. Many shelters allow you to "visit" with a cat for a short period of time. This is a good way to narrow the selection process. Most shelters will tell you something about how the cat came to them. My current cat was approximately the same age as my previous cat who died from lukemia. She had had a single woman as her caretaker for 6 years, so it was a good match. I held her for a while and it seemed like the right cat for me. I waited about six manths before I went looking for a new kitty so that I could morn the loss of the cat who had died. Shelters ensure that the animals have been neutered or spayed and have received their inital shots. I have had both male and female cats and I prefer females because thay are less inclined to roam. Please keep your cat inside so that it is not subject to encounters with other animals or
viruses.

I haven't had a pet in a really long time. My husband bought me a Yorkie. She weighs 6#'s. She is so sweet and loving and she makes my days much brighter and happier. I am so glad she became a part of the family.

I have a donkey that is 21 yrs.old they can live to be 40 yrs. old and a cat that will be 22 yrs. old July 4th..

KITTIES!! cats are amazing and i love them to bits and pieces...
dogs are ok..so long as they're not too big..
but..CATS!!
