why do lightbulbs signal an idea?

probably because i light turns on in their head... duh!

Well, for me, when I receive an idea, it always seems like an enlightenment. Thus, when a lightbulb is turned on, it turns the darkness into light - just like the before-and-after stages of getting and idea.

Because its bright and draws attention. However, sometimes the lights on and no one's home. That means they're dull and can't get an idea if it slapped them in the face.
