cant help you with the itch but maybe stop you getting bit, 2 months before you go away start taking garlic capsules double the dose it tells you to take it wont hurt you at all and keep taking it on your hols , the mozzies dont like the smell that comes through your pores this has worked for 5 friends so far.

Try rubbing white vinegar on them. Use a cotton ball and just rub it on. It's cheap and it works really well. It works instantly. And it lasts for at least 3 hrs or so.

i would rub rubbin alcohol on them, it takes away the itch and kind of makes them go away
