It's supposed to be a lot better. Just ask the thieves who keep targeting people with ipods and stealing them.

Well an iPod is an Mp3 player. Plus it all depends on your opinion. everyone has their own. Personally i like my ipod better than the "Rio" Mp3 i used to have. Then again i haven't had every Mp3 in the world

No. It depends on what you need your Mp3 player for. If you have a Mac then yes. If you use XP and don't need a lot of space then there are several flash based players out there that are good. Check out www.anythingbutipod.com for some cool ones. Archos, Cowon, iAudio, and Creative make some pretty good ones if you're looking for a larger capacity and video. The Creative Vision Zen: M supposedly has a much clearer and brighter screen than the iPod.

A mp3 player is much better then an iPod. Especially if you want to be able to KEEP your music on your computer and on the player. Or remove music from the player on to the computer.

Ipod is better. Ipods have more versions mp3 players are mostly the same and they don't have video

my ipod had so many problems after one year and now i have my mp3 player and it works perfectly fine

Yes. A whole lot better because you can put music, music videos, and of course podcasting. MP3 don't even come close.

Ipods are not you have to down itunes and a lot more stuff to make the Ipod work
