If you're 21, the nightlife is awesome. Seacrets is the best place to be, it is a huge semi-outdoor bar with really great Jamaican music in one room, and dance music in another, and sometimes a band. During the day, they have tables in the water where you can sit and hang out. Party Bloc is a fun club too, the girls might as well walk around naked; Seacrets is the complete beach experience though. The inlet has a dock where you can rent jet skis, and there are coupons in the Ocean City Visitors Guide which most hotels will give you upon check in (free). There is also Assateague where wild ponies run around on the beach and the roads and stuff. It's more relaxed. Other than that, the boardwalk, the beach and the shopping is always just as fun. Restaurants: Big Peckers, Dough Roller and Macky's now has beer pong on certain nights, if you are into that.

Which Ocean City? I know of one in Jersey and one in Maryland, and I'm sure other states probably have them to.

Edit: Okay, that is the one I know! : )

Definitely (as Funlady said) Seacrets, but I know they have supposedly added a lot so if you are under 21 you probably need a parent to even just get into the restaurant now. (My sister couldn't alone with me when I was 23). If you're an adult, have fun!

I also love eating at Big Peckers (love the name...kinda the come back to Hooters...hehe). Ya gotta try to eat outside though, they have the coolest glider type table/bench seat canopy things that just swing/glide back and forth. (Second photo on the site) So nice in the evening with a breeze and everyone is tired. ; )

I may have to take a trip down there... lol

I and some people went down there for more then a day in later July 2002...thought of finding a hotel but they were so expensive and were hard to find vacancies. Instead we made reservations and camped out at an Assateague Island camp ground, was like $25 a day at that time, and just enjoyed the wild horses wandering the area and an EMPTY "private" beach in July. (The camp loops are right there behind the beach.) AND it is a very reasonable distance from the boardwalk and regular beach in Ocean City. It worked out pretty well! So that is an idea for any people if anyone ever wants to save some cash! : )

If you are under 21, you have to hit the inlet amusements, called Trimpers and walk the boardwalk from there. There is an under 21 rave called H2O (used to be Nite Lite) that is always packed. Get Thrasher's french fires, the Atlantic Stand for burgers, and Dumser's for ice cream.

If you are over 21, the same attractions are good, but you HAVE GOT TO GO TO SEACRETS! It is amazing. The cover is high, but you can get in early in your swimsuits, ounge in the bay on big floats and have drinks brought to you. Eat there, the jerk chicken is great, then party after the sun goes down.
