1st check your fuse and horn relay. See if you get power to the horn. Put a test lead to the wire going to the horn. Press the horn pad, the test lite should lite, if it does, then you have a bad horn. If it doesnt, start to look backwards to the relay and fuse and then the grounds for the horn.

The simplest thing you can do is to find the horn disconnect the connections and run jumper wires directly from the battery + and - to see if it is the horn. If the horn is faulty you can easily replace it. From there unless you know what you are doing it would be best to take it to a repair shop.

maximum horns have become quieter by using noise pollutants and persons using them while they do no longer seem to be meant to, a horn is a warning gadget to warn human beings of your presence ie. while traveling down a rustic street and you come as much as a blind humpback bridge
