It's most likely the ignition switch or the key ! They have a micro chip in them that sends a coded signal to the computer , so if either go bad your car wont start ! If this is the cause you should see the theft light flashing when you try to start the Car and the light should stay on for about ten minutes after you try to start it before it turns off ! If you have a spare key try it first !

It might not be the anti-theft device. Have you tryed an engine code reader to see if it is some other problem. If you have read your handbook on the anti-theft device and tryed their suggestions then the next stop is back to the installer. Meanwhile, your car should be safe from theft.
