I am a new e-bay seller. I have an item on there that ends in three days, but has no bids yet. I received an e-mail from a potential buyer asking me if I could add a Buy it Now option because she would like to buy it immediately. Is that against any e-bay rules because I have 3 people watching it? Any input would be great, I'm still new to selling! Thanks!

If you are a new seller, you cant do the buy it now option yet until you have at least 10 positive feedbacks first. After you get 10 positive feedbacks, ebay will let you do the buy it now option.

If you already have 10+ feedbacks, then you can change it anytime. Even if there are 3 watchers, you have the right to change the options on your own auction.

Normally people bid at the last minute, so you might have all of them bidding at the end.

If you have met the requirements to do a Buy it now auction, then you can do that as long as no one has bid on it yet. Watchers mean nothing. I have had 12 watchers on an item that didn't even sell before. As long as they are offering a price that you will accept, go for it. Just NEVER sell anything outside of the auctions - you will get screwed. If you have another one that someone wants or something like that, just list it and tell them the item number or something.

Sean gave you the right answer and you will find that you get the most bids in the last 8 hours.

its not against anything but watch out for fake money order or fake paypal/western union email they send you for the money. Most of the time it's like this. But if this is a real buyer then only send the item when you get the money in your hand.

Did you supply ebay your mastercard information once you joined? in case you probably did you have gained an e mail telling you that ebay won't in any respect ask on your information ever returned. I easily have been on ebay for 7 years and that they have got on no account asked for my information, just to replace my card expiry date. Watch ou there are various crafty beggars approximately, and in the event that they get your card information you're in shtuk.

I am pretty sure you have to add Buy It Now at the time you list it... but try making a change to your listing and see if they let you.
