Maybe I am a cynic, but i expect it is a scam. I have heard of two..
She will eventually ask for money to come fly over. You send the money and never see or hear from her again.
She will say she wants to come over, but needs information from you to validate you are not a pervert. Some of the information is quite personal, such as bank account. You wake up and the bank account is drained.
I would take her letter, search the internet for key phrases and see if others have encountered similar letters.

I wish you luck and I would expect it would be lucky if the only thing she wanted was a greencard.

Dude, like most foreign chicks, she is using you for the Green Card. She is trying to butter you up and make you fall head over heels for her. When she comes here she is going to push and force marriage on you and when you do, she will leave you for the first man with the moola that can take care of her. This is why Russian dating sites have woman looking for 17-50 year olds. They are desperate to leave there.

No, don't be scared - just hang onto your wallet. Often these russian girls are trying to get to this country. They sweet talk you until you don't know which end is up and then tell you they are getting the money together for a ticket to come to visit.
In my sons case, she scrimped and scraped together $1500 but could no way come up with the last $300..............when he didn't come up with it, she moved on.

Run away from that!!!!! I was on a dating website and started getting long emails from a Russian Girl every day. My freind was getting letters almost exactly the same.
It's a scam!
