My garden is running over with squash, how can i freeze squash? and need to know what to do first. E-mail me and let me know! Thank you all.

I would wash the squash then cut it up in serving size portions and then freeze it in a plastic bag,
I would also keep some just in a cold storage room if you have one and not bother freezing them.

You could also cook the squash whole by piercing the skin with a fork and roasting them then peal and freeze the cooked squash

Give it to friends and family. Blanch it (dip in boiling water for a minute) before freezing it and you'll have squash all year. Make Squash pickles and cake! Lucky you...wish I had some.

I have baked it, removed it from the rind, and mashed it, then froze it, when serving it I add butter salt, and plenty of brown sugar. This methos takes much less room in the freezer.
