Immigrants have been entering this country illegals for over 200 years. Why are you interested now?

Are you responding to the latest diatribe in the press about Mexicans?

If so, you are either racist or a reactionist - I don't care for either one.

It's illegal! It should be stopped! Everyone that's here illegally needs to go to jail or go home! Remember, the key word here is illegal. If we ignore this law, it will be a different one tomorrow, and another one after that and so on and so on. Pretty soon, we will have a complete lawless society.

If they want to work, I don't understand why they don't get a work visa and come over legally. And another thing, it's not about the jobs Americans won't do. They are starting to take skilled jobs like chemical plant operators, etc. They get them because everyone want "diversity" in the workforce, so don't hand me the crap about jobs Americans won't do.

I can understand that they want to live in United States, because all the rights that the Law could offer them and the Freedom, but they need to RESPECT THIS LAW, which is the MAIN SOURCE of all the rights that they are aspiring to, and that it means respecting THE SOVEREIGNTY OF USA by being allowed to enter and to stay.
A Tourist Visa or a Student Visa means that you are allowed for a temporary stay and not a way to sneak in USA for ever or until the immigration catch you.
Jumping over the Border it is as disrespectful towards USA as a Country as to stay over and it does cost money to the taxpayers..
To want to live in USA doesn't mean to break its LAW.
That is what they need to understand no matter where they are from.
There is something called SOVEREIGNTY.

I believe in giving people the chance to improve their lives. However I do not believe in people coming here and taking our jobs, using our tax money and never giving back.
Let immigrants come in through the right channels and be legal. They can then work and pay taxes and enjoy the rest of the benefits of being a legal citizen of the US. Oh, and learn enough English to at least get by.

Leave em alone. illegal immagrants run this country anyway. Imagine how much every single business would lose in profits if all immagrants were to be sent back to there homeland. immagrants are a necessity wether people like them or not.

I think everyone deserves a chance at a better life. I just think it should be done legally. If they want to come over, I think that's fine as long as they go through the proper channels, get a respectable job and pay taxes. Social Security needs the help.

I feel that it is wrong because they are coming over here and right at the bat they are breaking the law. I have nothing against the legal ones. But i feel that people that are coming over here should be legal so we know a little about them at least that there not really bad criminals. I feel that when people come over here illegally that they have something to hide and i don't like wandering what people are hiding.

Most important now is to stem the tide of NEW illegals pouring across our southern border. Whatever it takes, walls or troops. Then concern ourselves with what to do with/about those illegals who are already here. Incidentally, any form of amnesty not only is unfair to those who have followed the rules but is an invitation to other potential cheaters.

I thikn we need to shoot them with rubberized bullets, and maybe they'll stop coming in.... did you know that one of OUR congressmen snuck an amendment into one of the bills that recently passed, and none of the other congressmen knew about it, so they voted yes on it, and guess what.... now, we HAVE to ASK Mexico to build a border fence. ON OUR OWN TERRITORY.... Under the articles of the constitution of the United States of AMERICA, we are being invaded, and an invasion, needs to be delt with. Theyre taking our jobs, our land, our money, our welfare, and lowering our educational standings.... I have nothing against immigrants, from ANYWHERE that come in through the proper channels, and are willing to work hard and be a productive member of our country..... But you come in here illegally, tell me that all of SW USA and all of California belong to you, that you're stealing Identities just to work and send money back to mexico, to drag us down? Uh huh... i don't think so.

I come from a family of immigrants. I am not against immigration, but I am against illegal immigrants. Breaking the law is breaking the law no matter what, this isn't to say that the illegal immigrants are not hard workers or good people, but they are law breakers and should not be allowed to stay.
