I am of the Muscogee people. But you will not find my family or myself on the "rolls", because when the time came to move us to Oklahoma my ancestors hid in the woods and swamps and since the majority of southern tribes are light skinned eventually passed themselves off as white. It was self preservation, because up untill the 1920's killing an Indian here in the south was okay, Alabama even had a bounty on us, Indians, not my family.
I live in the Florida panhandle.
