Some cultures believe in giving birth to their own work force to keep the family business going and most Latinas are Catholic. That religion doesn't believe in birth control and having as many kids as possible. The men are raised to believe that the more children they have the bigger men they are. At least the people I know.

What are you talking about? Is this an attempt at prejudice? I was just wondering because I know alot of "white" women, that are obsessed with having a child. I think it is a "woman" thing and sometimes even a man thing to have children. It is probably the "Best" gift God has given all of us to reproduce. Have you ever held your own baby child in your arms? It is the thrill of a lifetime. I am white, caucasion, whichever you you choose. My son is now 29 years old and I can still remember the happiness my wife and I had when we found out she was pregnant.

I think it is irresponsible for any race to have children if they cannot afford it or expect that the government will take care of them. I also think that with the infringment of development in wildlife habitats to make room for the human race is bad. Therefore there is a growing stigma of people of any race having a bunch of children....kind of like smoking. Taxpayers are becoming fed up with supporting people who can't afford there children or have the time necessary to shape them into quality productive adults.

Lots of Latino people are Catholic and I don't think Catholics believe in birth control, so they end up with gigantic families. Or maybe some people live in poor areas and can't afford it.
