I would change oh so many things that have gone on in my life. I never would have dated my first boyfriend, I would be more religious and kind, I would have finished college when I was college age - instead of now.

I'm guessing you mean younger, with a long life still ahead of me?

I would be kinder to everyone. I would spend more time outdoors, enjoying Nature's gifts. I would watch more sunrises and sunsets, and laugh and play with my children more. I would travel more and be interested in other people and not care so much about my own achievements. I would not spend money collecting things but spend time collecting memories with my family. I would spend more time with my parents, knowing that they had a rich history and much wisdom to impart. I would go to church on Sundays, knowing that my church family would uphold me in ways that are good and decent.

I would laugh more, love more deeply, and not worry about "what others think". I would not sweat the small stuff, and believe me, most of it is small stuff.

Lastly, I would tell the people I love every single day of my life that I love them. I would dance in the rain, and I would sing like nobody's listening.

And since I'm still here, it isn't too late to do all those things. I am going outside to watch the sunset, and then I'm going to bake some bread and take it to my neighbors and visit for a while.

Your question made me stop and think of the things that are important to me, and then I realized that as long as I am living that I still have the chance to do all these things. When I leave this level of existence, I want to have been a blessing to those I love, and kind to all.

Thank you for reminding me what matters - and bless you.

If I could be new, I would play in a popular band where children would be named after my band, where I'd go over to people's houses and see my bands stuff all over their bedroom...

Oh...Wait, I did that already.

If I could be new, I would go to college to become a psychotherapist to help people in their everday lives...

Oops, did that too...

If I could be new, I would become more religious...

No... No... wait... Darn! I did that already too...

Actually, there isn't any reason I can think of that I would want to change in my lifefor.

Of course. there were BAD things. I had two marriages that didn't work out. Would I have married those persons again? Yes! Yes I would. I have 8 beautiful children as a result of those marriages. I would never wish I hadn't married either of them. A part of me will always be a part of them, and a part of them will always be a part of me.

For better and for worse... For richer and for poorer... In sickness and in health.... This is my life. I treasure every aspect of it. And, I will continue exploring all the possibilities.

I would go back to college and get my degree in special education and travel around the world to Europe, Egypt, all over.
Than I would come back and start thinking about settling down.

I would have played Soccer all through highschool, cared less about grades and more about starting a punk rock band, and I might have tried harder to be more active politically before my age now: 17.

Avoided my first husband like the plague that he was, not spend so much money partying when I was young, and invest in tech stocks in the 1980's.

Otherwise? No regrets.

Be 47 pounds lighter.
Maybe be taller, doesn't matter much.

Personality wise: Be more outgoing.
Be more honest.
Alot more confidence.

If i were brand new, all my past regrets, pains, and losses would be erased.
