Niether... all season long... but I believe the northern portions of Alaska, would see a slightly longer cold season.... for the most part Alaskas winters are not much worse than ours here in Wisconsin

Both do,yet Alaska has a much colder average annual temperature,due to its distance from the equator...tom science
