I agree with you, but people don't always live by the same standards. In would never have a abortion, there are more than that choice, there is always adoption. There are a lot of families that are not able to have children that would love to adopt. I feel that eveything happens for a reason. We don't always understand God's choices for us.

First of all a fetus is not a child. Medically it is not a baby or child until it can survive out of the womb, about 7 or 8 months is when it is a baby. If you were raped and had no choice to have sex in the first place would you want to be forced to go through 9 months of your body changing, expensive bills for prenatal care (because an individual plan doesnt cover it. Have to be on a family insurance plan before you get pregnant. So a woman raped who may or may not have insurance may have to pay the full cost of prenatal care). Also having to go through the pain of giving birth all because some a hole raped you and you never had a choice. That is what pro choice is about. having a choice. Another example is a woman who is getting a divorce from a violent man and finds out she is pregnant and gets an abortion so she wont be connect to her exhusband forever. Say the exhusband may use the baby to constantly terrorize the woman if she has it. Therefore having an abortion gives her more of a chance to get away from the guy. Should that woman be forced to have a kid she doesnt want? NO she shouldnt. That is why pro choice exists. Abortion has been going on for centuries, when it was legal and illegal. It was legal for a long time then religious freaks made it illegal, then it was finally made legal again at least in certain places like the US. The danger is that if it is illegal women get abortions unsafely, by crack pot doctors who dont use clean instruments, or they try and do it themselves and the women end up getting sick or dying because of it. That is why abortion has to be legal.
Being pro-choice is not about wanting women to get an abortion. It does not mean prochoice people are anti life. It just means that each individual woman has the right and deserves the right to decide what to do with their own bodies, that is it. I dont think abortion should be used as a birth control method. I would hope that no one ever would need an abortion or want one, but it should always be legal so a woman can have the choice. If i was raped and got pregnant and found out in time, i would not let anyone tell me i cant have an abortion. having a rapist's child is like being raped all over again and having a daily reminder for the rest of your life.

I am totaly against abortion! By the time you are 8 weeks along the baby has nerves and can feel getting cut up into little peices there is a lot of websites about abortion that tell you the truth about it. They thow the babies out like trash. i think it is very wrong to give a girl/women the right to end a babies life. When it is against the law to murder someone that is outside the womb what diffrense is it when the child can feel what is going on. I would not be able to stand knowing I had done this to a child. it has feelingd to. A fetus is a human being it has a heart beat and it can feel!

Killing any living creature is not playing god.
When you eat a hamburger are you playing god?
Or when you order some french fries, are you playing god by killing the vegatable?
Therefore by having a abortion, your making a personal choice about the quality of your life, and the child that you do not want to have. If it is in your best interest to abort the child so that you may be able to actually take care of yourself and not end up in poverty for the rest of your life. Its a wise choice.
So god has nothing to do with abortion, or anything else. Its just people who are anti-choice want to put a guilt trip on everyone who is pro-choice.
I dont fall for such cheap tatics.

Pro-choice does not necessarily mean pro-abortion. That's what some would have you believe. Not true! Pro-choice means that the woman should have the choice of what to do with her body. Not the Govt, (pro-choice). If the woman chooses not to have a child, not to carry it for 9 months or not to choose to go through the pain of pregnancy, it should be HER choice and hers alone. I am not pro-abortion but I am pro-choice. Hope this helps you to better understand it.

Of course one decides about the life of the child - naturally. But that has nothing to do with playing God.
There are situations a child born would destroy more than one life - and nothing is worse than having a child and not being able to care or love.
Abortion should be the last thought, of course, but women taking the choice should be understood as well.

They are totally playing God. I feel that if a life wasn't meant to be then they wouldn't be pregnant in the first place. Almost everyone that I know that has an abortion ends up getting pregnant again within a few months. What is meant to be, will be.

It must really matter to you that some people choose to have an abortion. I'm sorry to hear that. If you are so against it than you should simply not have one. There are reasons that women decide to do this. I personally have never had one or anything, but I know and love someone who has.

Hooray to those of you that "get it" !
God gave us minds to use ! Choice is a critical aspect of being a human being. Do not judge lest you are above being judged. And unless YOU walk on water you are not above judgment. And unless YOU have walked in someones shoes you have no right to criticize or judge their choices in life. You can be a friend and you can be someone to talk to and to lean on and to guide but YOU can not dole out judgment.
To many people think in black and white, be willing to see the grays also. Open your eyes to a world of acceptance. Until we do we are doomed, This side against That side.
My God is Loving. He knows the heart of a person.
He does not rely on who can shout the loudest or gain the biggest headlines in the local paper. Your HEART speaks.
