I am not sure how to answer this one, except to say that I live here, in southeastern Idaho. I am only 100 miles from Yellowstone Park. While we are noted for our famous potatoes, we have lots of other industry. Just 65 miles west of me is the Idaho National Laboratory, where lots of ornamental and nuclear research goes on. It is where the first nuclear submarine, USS Nautilus, was conceived.

Yeah that's funny,so is Idaho. We lived in Twin Falls for 5 years,.People drive around with confederate flags on their cars and talk with a southern accent, that's just to throw ya.They have a refugee center there so I thought it would be more diverse but I think the foreigners leave that state as soon as they arrive. There was a little 7 year old and 10 year old that had a mom that was bed ridden and the kids had a stand off with the F.B.I. (they had a bunch of weapons) and the family was living on Lilly pad soup. The chief of staff at the hospital goes out to the bars and gets drunk on the weekends and shoots at people. All the stuff on Napoleon Dynamite is true too. We've actually thought about writing a show about our experiences there. If you go there pray you don't have to go to the E.R. it's like the one on Saturday night live.Honestly I don't think they want anyone to know Idaho exists.

The Lewis and Clark Valley (Lewiston, ID and Clarkston, WA) could be where you were when you saw those signs. Another place could have been Moscow, ID and Pullman, WA. Then there's Coeur d'Alene, ID and Spokane, WA.
I've been to Idaho on a few occasions, and really loved it. Lots of wide open space, fewer people per square mile than anywhere else I've ever been - clean air.

I live in Spokane and Idaho is just an hour away. I've spent lots of time there so I can attest that it really exists. I'm not sure if the residents are REALLY living, however. They seem to give impression of being alive, but it may just be one of those government conspiracies.

I am from Maryland and my wife is named Mary, so that must be real. The question now, is there a woman named Ida Ho anywhere? If so, that tells us two things. One, there is an Idaho state, and two, her parents should be charged with mental child abuse for naming her that!

Yes Idaho does exist...it's one of the 50 states and my mom was born there and my grandparents were stationed there because they were in the Airforce.

I've been to Idaho, it's a very nice state. The people are very nice, the mountains are beautiful, the sky is SO blue, and the weather is very nice.

I have a friend from Idaho. Once I asked him if there were more teeth or women in Idaho. This offended him.
