I just don't understand some people at all. Someone please help me figure this out.

Some people give rude answers to prove that the other person is "weak" in their intelligence or ability to communicate to make themselves look superior to others they put down.
Some people do it just because they view it as fun to make people mad and angry, like the "jokesters" in class. They make fun of rules, people, ideas, etc. to make themselves look better and to mask their insecurities.
Some people think if you're not rude, you will be viewed as weak and insignificant in the world to where others will be able to control you.
People like to put others down in the rhealm of making fun of others, taking advantage of people, cheating on tests and reports, and backstabbing.
I hope this helps and gives you some insight into why people can be so rude when they're not "put off" by anything.

Some people are bored and rude at the same time and figure that since you can't do anything to them physically that they can do whatever they want.
I figure the same thing but what's the point really? Why not just be polite since people here are asking for advice.

Sometimes people will respond in-kind when a person asks an off-color or offensive question. People are rude for a number of reasons; insecurity, defense mechanisms, or sometimes rudeness is used to mask pain, boredom or fear.
Not everyone is rude. Perhaps it is a good idea to skip over some of the postings that bother you and look for ones that are not offensive to you.

Depends on the education level of the people asking and answering the questions and also the question, itself.
