Do the red cards issued in the second round of the World Cup carry through for the rest of it? Or are they wiped out.. For instance, do the red cards issued during the Portugal/Netherlands game stay with the players or are they wiped out after they advance?

the red cards do carry over and the players who have gotten them will not be allowed to play in the next game

Costinha and Deco will be suspened for the game against england
and if they move on they will be allowed to play in the next round.

i think those who had red cards today will not be able to play the next game though they can play the game after that.
