it is not just hispanics or hispanic women ewho have gold teeth, you can find that dental use in almost every ethnic variety.
At one point in time gold was the metal of choice to cap teeth. That is why there are stories about people dying or found dead and street urchins pulled teeth from the deceased's mouth. It was also an expensive endeavor. As technology changed the materials changed aswell and in some cases increased the price of the dental capping. Gold caps are still an option in the dental community but is cheaper that the typical new technology metals of today.
Where as gold teeth were a staple of one's wealth, they are now characterized as being an indication of one's poverty.

I've never seen any hispanics with gold/silver teeth. Are you talking about a filling?

My mother is Hispanic, and she nor any of my family members have gold or silver teeth. I think a better question deserving a valid answer is why are you such a narrow-minded idiot?

ok nicely first im from canada i advance into gazing the information im hispanic and nicely many have been saying that its because of the fact hillary has a historic previous of assisting the hispanic community interior the previous ... they have been saying she did alot for them and incredibly a number of those anybody is their and spreeding the notice on spanish channels of the stable issues she did to assist them in a time of want ... as for right here in canada alot of people dont like her they want obama i think of because of the fact its time for replace she already promised to start a war with iran if she gets elected look it up their are articles on the information superhighway on it ...

i was told in mexico that women with silver fronts on there teeth resemble there married. Asian women also stain there teeth black in asian countries for the same reason too.

Where you been?
For those who don't know, it's very costly.
It's takes money to have it done. It cost more
then just a plain tooth capping. Also, the gold
still has value.
