Because Men have their very own wonderful version of PMS, even a cute booty is powerless to it's devices. Did he have a bad day at work? Get into it with a friend or family member? Money Problems? Lack of Sex? All of these can trigger Male PMS it's not like female PMS (being that ours is understandable and predictable) Men's can come at anytime during the month or even last the whole month long. Basically guys can be grouches for no apparent reason.

Has he always been a grouch? If not find out what is causing the change in attitude and fix it if possible.
Put a sign on the fring "If you cannot say anything nice, then do not say anything at all".
Have you been thinking of his needs instead of yours? (Your comment) You may have a cute booty, but what is the use of a cute booty if there is no one to "bounce" it to?
Better yet, why not ask him why is he so grouchy and what can you do to make the grouch go away!

It is a man thing, when we are made there is 1/4 cup grouch blended into the mixture. Not much but can cause some of us to appear grouchy at times. Best counter effect is to get us into the fresh air and an afternoon at the swap meet and a beer usually will take the edge off of the grouch, especially if you have a cute body!

Have you tried talking to him about it? It can be difficult sometimes to get people to be honest about what they are feeling. Since he is your husband it is far more important to get to the bottom of his problem since you suffer from his attitude. Does your husband get enough sleep? Sleep deprivation can have all kinds of negative affects on the body both physically and emotionally. Is your husband over weight? Sometimes the lack of physical exercise and improper diet will lead to weight gain which can result in poor self-esteem. Weight gain can also bring on physical limitations that might be causing your husband to tire quickly or not be able to do what he use to do before the weight gain. Another possibility for his being grouchy might be depression. Clinical depression is often over looked and grouchiness is seen as a sign of old age when in reality it can be changed through the use of medication and cognitive behavior therapy. Before you simply except this behavior I suggest you sit down and have a serious conversation. He should be able to give you a reasonable answer for his conduct and a reasonable solution for changing it. If he doesn't know what is causing it you need to make an appointment for him with his doctor. He should be evaluated for depression and rule out any physical explanations for his attitude. Living with a grouch does not have to be a life sentence unless you decide to settle with it.

We men often get grouchy when we are tired and just need a little time. I am not saying time away just time to focus our thoughts for the day.
The worst thing I find is coming home and getting hit up with the house hold problems in the first minute of walking in the door.
If I could have a few minutes to switch gears from work to home it would always help me to be less grumpy.

something might be bothering him and he doesn't feel comfortable talking about it let him be a grouch but if it goes on longer then 2 days then sit down next to him and explain that it is really upsetting you to see him that way maybe he will open up and let you know what is bothering him

he is lacking something in his life. it may be not getting enough of that "cute booty" or too much of it :-o it may be there isn't enough time/money to get or do the things he wants or needs or he could just be having a phase. has he always been this way?

He's probably tired of working the same old job trying to make ends meet. Most get that way after awhile. You can't make the money as quick as you can spend it.
Give him a little extra attention, baby him now and then - tell him you appreciate the way he takes care of you. Men need to hear that now and then just as well as women.
(and then give him some great sex )
