i had an mp3 player but when u download it tells u how many mb there is. (for example christina aguliera : dirrty: 2.8mb)

It depends on the file size, usually .MP3 audio files (4,5 min length) are abour 5 MB, so with a 512 MB MP3 player, you can store about 100 songs, while there are MP3 players with more capacity up to 60 GBs that I think one can never fill it up!

oh all the answers stop with that frame size and quality it depends on the mb if the song is 3 mb and your mp3 player has lets say 10 mb it will hold 3 or more if you compress them

I hope my son walks in the door right now while I'm answereing your question, because my 14 year old son is a genious with every electronic devise, school, you name it! And he also has an mp3 player! Alls I know is my son was "Downloading" songs everyday for hours, at a time, on his.. So, I hope that helps you with you question. The MP3 player should give an approximate number of songs that it will hold. Trust me, bigger is better.

It does depend on quality & length, but a good estimate is 3 to 5 MB per song.

Well an MP3 song is usually a few to several megabytes itself. But if you compress it to .wma format you can average 2MBs per song.
