does she need a sec. 8 voucher or does she already have it & just need an apt the accepts sec 8 ?

in my state the waiting list to obtain a voucher is close til 2010.
try the dept of aging for assistance.or mayber the AARP.

You can search the web for Section 8 Housing in a specific area.
In your case you will be able to read names, addresses and phone numbers for all categories of housing for the elderly.
