I've been interested in the area for a while and would like to expand my knowlege but I'm not sure how the idea of an alternative medicine practitioner is accepted by the society

Nice, Ermala. The health benefits of acupuncture, acupressure, and reflexology are verifiable and coming into acceptance.

It would be best if you also studied Chiropractic Medicine or Rolfing (Structural Reintegration) so you can set up a whole Studio of alternative therapies.

Currently, you can charge about $100/hour for such services. Not at all bad money. Add in little machines for ultrasound, a hot tub, a tanning salon, and you'll have a great business going.

Good luck.
