It takes time to remember and moving around can help refresh memories -- However, try not looking anywhere at first but instead thinking about what was done before it was lost -- then search -- often it will be found much faster sometimes on the first go

well human nature...... if ur looking for something and u finally find it u stop looking for it since u found it. So the place u found it becomes the last place u look.
But if u wanna change that, next time u lose somethign and u find it, keep looking after wards so its the second last place u looked.
