Is Bush willing to scrap America's nuclear/WMD arsenal and lead by example or only others should do that?

Since when America could lead by example? I mean a good example.

Think of Kyoto, Guantanamo, Not paying its bill to the UN, etc... and find one good example... Good luck.

That will never happen.

If for some reason Bush decided to get rid of all nuclear weapon, no other country will follow. They are not stupid, how can we proof to them that we really remove "ALL", not a portion of our WMD? And the same apply to us, how can we be sure they remove everything?

As long as any other country on the planet has them, or might have them, we have to keep ours.
If we get rid of ours and China, for instance, still has thiers, thats an open invitation for them to nuke us to the point that we can no longer keep thier expantionist desires in check.
Since they have a very powerfull millitary, and are not concerned with silly concepts like freedom or civil liberties, they can then do as they wish with the worlds people and resource.
So, we kind of keep the world in check by keeping ours and trying to keep those who don't have them from getting them.

WE are #1 so we should have the bomb and no one else can have one. Or we will bomb you. But if I was in his shoes I would change it all. I would scrap them all. Recall all troops back to the USA. Close all bases in the world. Stop all imports of crude oil. Stop helping other countries with money and food. Close the borders too.
