If so, how do I keep it from crapping out?

Yes, it is. And one way to keep it from "crapping out" is to not treat it like crap for one, and if you do get one and you value it the don't tilt it while it's on. But among other things it is worth the money and a bit of advice, buy the one for $400, because if you buy the one for $300 and you want all the cool accessories that the $400 one has you'll easily spend more than $500. And just so you know a PS3 costs $500 for the system with the 20 gig hard-drive and $600 for the system with the 60 gig hard-drive, soo you pick. PSP's are pretty cool but if you don't have a computer with Windows 2000 or later it's pointless to buy.

If you like the titles that are exclusive to that system then buy it, otherwise don't. All of the systems are going to have awesome graphics, nintendo will be slightly behind in that category, but the graphics will still be very good. If you like Mario and other exclusive nintendo titles buy nintendo's system, if you like Elder Scrolls, Halo, or does xbox have any other exclusives? haha Just kidding, If you like Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, and other such games that are EXCLUSIVE to sony's system, then buy a PS3. People are putting WAAAAAAAYYYY too much stock in the SYSTEM and not the GAAAAAAMMMMMESSSSSS. Xbox had the most powerful system last generation, but they had shitty games and their console didn't sell well, until HALO, so think about it. The only real reason to buy a console is for the games. It sounds simple, I know, but people will try to trick you with flashy things like HDMI OUTPUT, and PC INTERACTIVITY, and 60gabillion Gigaflops per second OMGs! But just keep in mind, that you aren't gonna want to play shitty games no matter how powerful and goody filled a system is.

I am buying a 360, because I like a few of the games that are coming to it. Then again, i'm getting a Wii and a PS3 too

i don't think so. i don't personally own one, but my friend bought one right when it came out..and he is already bored of it.

I'd buy it just for Elder Scrolls IV....but....from what i've heard it's more like an XBOX 1.5 instead of teh next level up.

It is especially if you prefer FF games. Because FF XI is addicting as churros.
