That is a definite YES!!! I was one of those older feminist who as a young woman back in the 60's and 70's pushed the button on this..I became an activist in my home town: Grand Rapids Michigan.
Today, many young women enjoy the benefits as a result...unfortunately sexism is still very much alive and well. Many girls are still being brought up to "suck up to the men" and "compete with other girls." They need to to do opposite!! in my opinion...just a little joke as I really would like to see us all cooperate together. Unfortunately another trend I see is that being sexualized and promiscuously being considered as feminist. Though I feel sex is fabulous, putting yourself out like a piece of meat is not being a feminist...how many young men do that? And aren't the ones that do being taken advantage of like the girls? Its all about a sense of dignity...to do and be who you really are..and that is always something that is not only good for you but for society as a whole.
Lets hear it for women and girl power!!!Yeah!!!!!!!!!!
(by the way, my husband yells this even louder than I do.)
Hey why not being feminist..its not a dirty word you know..its called being normal!
Oh almost forgot. Here's an interesting point: why are so many of those scarfed, Muslim girls that people think are so subservient to men being well educated in graduate schools in the Math and Sciences while US girls are still discouraged in those areas? See how backwards we STILL are!

I do too! Woman power is a great thing. Women nurture, teach and shape their children to be the best they can. I think that if more women were in positions of power, we could maybe have more solutions for finding world peace.

I believe in treating all people equally, which means I don't believe in women's power.
Woman Power implies that women are better than men, and if you really want to make a difference that's not the way to go.

I believe that some people have power, others don't. Some are men, some are women, some are children.

women power as in what? if you mean stamina, the strength to endure whatever, doing the extra, working in the home-working outside of the home-returning to finish working in the home, referee, finance manager, household engineer, mom, daughter, aunt, sister, emotional, maid, teacher, mediator, ms. fix-it, operator, secretary, cook, chauffeur, supervisor, cheerleader, consoler, seamstress, friend, wife, confidant, attitude, warm-hearted, in control, out of control.....if you're talking about these things and so much more then yes! i believe in the power of women.

Women power? It's not like they're coal or gas. You can't just burn them, people get arrested for doing stuff like that.
